Вот танец, созданный Ирой в честь этого любимого нами города. Мы разучивали его под "Дарвином" и повторяли под Арсеналом.

Давайте вместе его разберем и включим в нашу выступательную программу.

Trip to Lviv (Jig 3x40) 3C set

1 – 4 All set, 1C and 3C turn partner RH ¾ while 2C turn partners RH ½

5 – 8 1C and 3C half reel of four

9 – 12 All set to partners and turn RH ¾ (finishing: 2M between 3C at the top facing 3L, 2L between 1C at the bottom facing 1M)

13 – 16 2M with 3C and 2L with 1C dance half right shoulder reel of three across the dance, 2C finishing at the middle of the dance passing each other by the left

17 – 24 2M with 1C at the bottom, 2L with 3C at the top dance LHA 2C finishing passing left shoulders to ½ RHA 2M with 3C, 2L with 1C, all set (see figure)

25 – 26 2M goes under the arch formed by 3C to the ladies’ side (3C advancing to the top place) while 2L goes under the arch formed by 1C to the men’s side (1C advancing to the bottom place)

27 – 30 Half Grand Chain starting with 3C change places with partner RH at the top while 1C change places with 2C RH. Finishing 1C at the top and 2C on own sides, 3C at the middle on opposite sides;

31 – 32 1C at the top, 2C at the bottom – set, while 3C turn ½ RH

33 – 36 1, 3 and 2 couples chaise clockwise ½ round

37 – 40 2, 3 and 1 couples turn partner RH ½, staying in the middle of the dance and swirl

Вдогонку: давно хотела пройти все танцы с 4-й недели в Сент-Эндрюсе. Частично мы это уже сделали, но вот, например SWILCAN (http://rscdsleeds.org.uk/dancecrib.asp?ID=2317) все никак не разберем - сначала он был сложным для младшей, а потом - пар мало... Мне он очень понравился, если хочешь, Ириш, можно было и его пройти, если на этот раз будет достаточно людей. Ну, или я потом сама с ними разберу.

48 bar Jig

Three men face three women, with lst man - and woman - on the right, 2nd in centre, 3rd on the left: thus partners are diagonally opposite each other.

1-8 1st couple turn by the right hand once and a half (2nd woman moves up and 2nd man down on 3-4), and cast, 1st man round 2nd woman and 1st woman round 2nd man, to finish on 'wrong' sides in
2nd places.

9-12 1st and 2nd couples dance half right and left diagonally.

13-16 1st and 3rd do the same, then

17-20 1st and 2nd couples, bringing 2nd couple back to own sides, and

21-24 1st and 3rd couples. 1st couple finish back to back in the centre, facing first corners, i.e. 3rd couple.
('Polite' turns are used at the end of each half right and left.)

25-32 Hul1o! Goodbye! 1st couple set as in General Stuart's Reel and finish back to back in the centre facing second corners, i.e. 2nd couple.

33-40 1st and 2nd couples dance a complete reel of four diagonally. 1st couple finish passing left shoulders to face second corners again.

41-46 1st couple dance reels of three on the sides, starting by giving right shou1der to second corners.

47-48 1st man crosses to 3rd man's place, while 1st woman crosses to 3rd woman’s place. 3rd couple cast into 2nd place.

Repeat twice more, each time with a new couple leading.

Golden Gateway Reel           Reel         Bob Mc Murtry (San Francisco Branch, Felton, California)- The Devil’s Quandary

1 - 8    1st man dances a left shoulder reel of three across the dance with the 2nd couple.
1st man starts by passing left shoulder with 2nd woman.
1st man ends in the middle of the set between the 3rd couple, facing down
       
9 - 16 1st woman dances a right shoulder reel of three across the dance with the 2nd couple, while
1st man dances a right shoulder reel of three with the 3rd couple.
1st woman passes right shoulder with 2nd man, while 1st man passes right shoulder with 3rd man to begin the reels.
2nd couple end the reel in top place, at the sides.
1st woman ends between the 2nd couple and 1st man between the 3rd couple, first couple facing down
       
17 - 24   1st couple cast to their right around the standing men to end facing first corners.

1st couple turn first corners for 4 bars, finishing facing same corners
       
25 - 32    1st couple set to first corners, then to each other across the set.
1st couple set to second corners, then 1st couple finish with a petronella-type turn to second place on own side.

Repeat, having passed a couple.

Dance Notes: On bars 9-16, 2nd couple should dance up a bit at the beginning of the reel in order to end the reel in top place. Also both the 1st man’s and 1st woman’s reels start with right shoulder on the men’s side of the dance to start.

SET AND LINK FOR THREE COUPLES

Instructions given for couples having progressed in a previous figure to the order 3rd, 1st & 2nd and all on the wrong side of the dance.

1 - 2
3rd, 1st & 2nd Couples set on own side lines with nearer hands joined, facing Partners.

3 - 4
The 1st Corners, i.e. 3rd Lady & 2nd Man (Those on the left end of each line and with their left hand free) dance within the dance to the other end of the line and rotate clockwise to face in the direction from which they have just come. The other two persons in each line pull their right shoulders back and chase round to join up in lines across the dance with the other corner person. (1st Cpl. lead in each case)

Hands have to be dropped in ‘Set and Link’ for 3.

Finish: - Counting from the men’s side,

2nd Lady, 1st Lady & 2nd Man at the top facing down.

3rd Lady, 1st Man & 3rd Man at the bottom facing up.

5 - 8
Repeat bars 1 to 4 from new positions, the same dancers changing ends of lines and same dances chasing round.
